Jo Anne Harris has a PhD in Literatures, Languages, and Cultures of the Anglophone Caribbean from the University of Puerto Rico. Currently Associate Professor at Georgia Gwinnett College, her ongoing research projects are The Virtual Caribbean and the Voyages Digital Library – both initiatives focusing on digital representations of  the Caribbean.
